Originally built for western Canada’s largest manufacturer of furniture, the Restmore Company thrived in the first half of the last century. But, by the late 1950’s, Restmore was in decline and the building was shuttered in 1967.
Today it is occupied by painters, sculptors, potters, photographers, and woodworkers who love the place for its open spaces, high ceilings and the odd ghost.
